EXCERPT TWO FROM MISTER PLUTONIUM

Here, for your perusal, is another excerpt from autobiography of the life and times of Mister Plutonium. In this excerpt, Mister Plutonium gives you a little more information about his first days of awareness on earth in Hawaii. He is still confused, and tired of being experimented on, but soon he will find his purpose... and then the fun will begin!

EXCERPT TWO FROM MISTER PLUTONIUM

... The needles of the scientists could not penetrate the oscillating glow that is the make-up of my bizarre skin. Any place I am touched, by hand or by thing, my skin appears to instantly compensate for the contact and creates an impenetrable hardness that dissipates as soon as the contact is removed. I do not have any control over this reaction my body displays at the touch of objects and people, but at least nobody is harmed by this process.

The assistants to the scientists wheeled into the lab several types of lasers and other devices for the scientists to run their test on me. Six hours passed between the hours of morning to afternoon as they attempted to X-Ray me, scan me with Computed Tomography, pierce my skin with the lasers and take samples of my cells.

The one rather disturbing thing that their machines did ascertain about me is this... I appear to be made-up of pure Plutonium. What the heck that means, I do not know. But, I give off zero radiation output. And... why in the heck do I give off this bizarre oscillating blue to white glow?

I thought to myself at that moment in time, Am I a ticking atom bomb walking? Or, am I some kind of ancient alien phoenix that rose-up from the depths of the fires of the molten rock inside a volcano to... WHAT? And, these scientist did have some fear in their eyes as they determined my atomic make-up. But again, what to to about all these strange facts about me?

So anyway, by the time I decided that I was done with all their tests for this day, so too were the exhausted staff of this area of the military facility.

And so, I made the decision at about 4:35 P.M. that it was time for me to leave the military base. Even though I did not know who, or what I was... as I was still suffering from some kind of selective amnesia... I needed to get the heck out of there.

As all the staff began to move the equipment around to make a bit of space around me, I began to remove the electrodes and the wires from my body. Of course, by the way, these pieces of glue smeared plastic circles actually did not stick to my skin... rather, they sat there in place. So, I basically just brushed them off of my body.

As was to be expected, these people were not happy about my decision to leave. They all began to panic as I began to make my move to get away from them. It was obvious to me that these people were instructed from high up in their chain of command to keep me in this facility! But, they could not stop me from walking right out the door of the medical bay, right down the long corridor leading through a couple of doors and straight outside into the humid air.

Humid air? I did not feel the humidity on my skin, but I could "see" the waves of heat moving the minuscule molecules of moisture in the air. I could see the humidity.

With a surprising amount of strength, I shrugged off about 50 attempts to wrestle me into submission by the Military Police. I absolutely did not desire to hurt anyone... and I did not, but... these were all grown men trained to be rough if they needed to be. So, some of them did hurt themselves as they punched my diamond hard skin areas and bounced off of me like flies bouncing off a steel wall as they attempted to tackle me.

Some of them threatened to shoot me if I left the grounds of the base, but they did not pull their triggers... especially when it became obvious to all that their bullets actually might ricochet back to them.

So, I walked down the steep mountain side toward the more dense forest below. I needed to get away for a few moments to gather my thoughts. The past few days had been insanely invasive and shocking to me... a being of unknown origin with the mind of a human but the body of a science fiction trope.

I am sure the guards monitoring the hidden cameras all over the place, even in the forest below, realized that I could see the heat signatures of their cameras. I was not bothered by the fact that I was being watched, and obviously tracked, I just needed to be alone for a time. And much to the credit of everybody watching me, they never sent anyone after me. They were obviously content to just see what I was going to do,

I found a large moss covered boulder a few hundred feet below. At 6'9" tall, I could see that the top of the rock was mostly flat. I decided to jump up to try to grab hold of the corner of the flat surface to attempt to pull myself up to the top so that I could survey the area from a high vantage point. I shocked myself when I thought I was leaping about 4 feet into the air to grab the edge... but instead, I effortlessly propelled myself about 30 feet into the air. I made a frightened, and very wobbly, landing on the top of the slippery boulder.

Slippery, yea... but for a reason I had yet to figure out, I slipped once on the damp moss. Then, my bare feet seemed to... keep me in place by creating traction.

Whatever...

Shaken and more confused about myself than ever, I sat there and thought about... me... for the rest of the day. The hours of contemplation moved by slowly and it was well into the night before I fell back on the larger-than-I-first-thought bolder top and fell into a deep sleep.

And I began to dream about things that forced more memories to surface into my mind. And, some of them were very disturbing!...
